Description

Welcome to the Emerald Cub Cabin! This is my brand new cabin in Cosby, Tennessee. I’ve completely renovated this cabin and know you’ll enjoy it as much as I do. I built this cabin near Greenbrier Creek which is located at the back of the property. I enjoy exploring it. Enjoy the fire pit on those cool Tennessee nights. Below are some of my recommendation for activities. Enjoy your stay.

Pet Info

We welcome your pups but require a $100 pet fee. We just ask that you keep them off of all furniture. Excess hair and fur on the furniture requires additional cleaning from our cleaning staff and will result in additional charges.

Garbage Info

Please do not leave trash or any food items laying outside of the cabin. We love our wildlife and want them to stay on their natural diets. We have a custom built, locked wooden box that acts as a bear proof container for all of your trash.

Cades Cove

This is the most popular destination throughout the park. This is quite the drive (approximately 1 hour 15 minutes), but it will take you right through the Smoky Mountains National Park with beautiful views. This loop once you get there will give you a variety of wildlife to spectate and plenty of trails to hike. On this loop it’s very common to see deer, black bears, turkey, elk, and more. There are also old cabins and cemeteries that date back to the 1800s and beyond. (Our favorite hiking trail is on this loop called Abrams Falls)

Some of our favorites are Abrams Falls, Rainbow Falls, Hen Wallow Falls, Laura Falls(paved trail). You really should do your research on these hiking trails before you go. There are many different levels of trails with varying difficulties.
